Nordic–Baltic Symposium on Animal Studies: Present Challenges and Future Endeavours

The Lund University Critical Animal Studies Institute (LUCASI) is pleased to announce the Nordic-Baltic Symposium on Animal Studies: Present Challenges and Future Endeavours, which will take place on 16 October 2026 in Lund, Sweden.

Bringing together researchers, practitioners and activists from across the region, the symposium will explore current legal and political challenges, discussions on animal testing and green criminology, as well as a workshop on advocacy strategies.
