Titel: 
“Animal-Inclusive Media Ethics"

Abstract 
This thesis wishes to be part of a “scientific revolution” in social sciences and humanities. They – or in this case, media and communication studies – must adopt a new ontology. According to this ontology, “society” does not consist of humans and their environments but of humans and some other animals and their environments. This ontological choice forces us to redefine some core communicational values, such as diversity and democracy.
