A successful defence by Dr. Hario Priambodho

On Thursday 5 June, Hario Priambodho defended his thesis "Cult Film Atmospheres: Audiences, Exhibitors, and Live Cinema Spaces".

Ever thought that academic texts are boring? Then think again.

Hario's defence was anything but conventional — it was full of surprises and interactive moments, including spoon throwing and scenes from cult classics that brilliantly captured the energy and atmosphere of cult film experiences, the very subject of his research.

Hario Priambodho’s PhD thesis titled "Cult Film Atmospheres: Audiences, Exhibitors, and Live Cinema Spaces", can be read HERE
